How does it work?

Everything you have learned is stored in your subconscious. When the body and conscious mind are in a deep relaxed state, as the hypnotic trance state, one can access the information or changing patterns, habits and beliefs held there. It is aimed at uncovering the root cause of the presenting problem, effecting profound and transformative healing.

Unlike other forms of therapy and counselling, which often take months or years to show results, hypnotherapy gives you positive suggestions and alternative new behaviors, meaning you can change very rapidly.

What is a typical session like?

An inital hypnotherapy session usually begins with the client and hypnotherapist discussing the goals of the client and answering any questions the client might have regarding the process. Typically, the hypnotherapist will guide the client into a state of relaxation similar to a guided meditation. Then the hypnotherapist will use suggestions that have been discussed with the client in order to make permanent and healthful changes in the client's life.
